Menopausal weight gain

Gaining while trying to lose ! Definite hormone changes. Age 53. Still some mens.'s.
Never problem before. Thyroid effect? Prefer safe,powerful,organic/herbal.
Heart rhythm issues during different parts of cycle, more pronounced as cycles change.
Have looked into Zalestra and EstroThin. Gained 10 pounds (1-2 lbs. per mo.) since March when I quit smoking, but was already beginning to gain. Funky timing.
Smoking treatment on ear. Not supposed to have weight gain with that approach.
Clothes still fit, but snug. Not comfortable; also I am looking 'puffy'(water retention?)
and get constipated (used to be morning regular like clockwork).
I do not believe I overeat. Metabolism is probably an issue as well. Exercise coming.
Any suggestions?
