Little movation

I need to know where i need to begin. I am very overweight and it's truely effecting my life and family. Am always so tired and don't have the energy to do anything but i finally decided to start somewhere and today is the day i make a difference. I would like to know where do i start from and just can't go out there and start jogging or run a marthon. Please advise me where and how to start. I know i also need change my eating habits and that's my next question what are the changes in my eating habits that i need to change ?

Try brief walks with a buddy a few days/week. You'll work your way to longer walks. I put more fruits, veggies & fish into my diet & cut my red meat down (not out though). I am also very overweight and hate to exercise, and hate to do it in front of anyone. I bought a Walk Away The Pounds DVD (also referred to as WATP) and it's an indoor walking program..I started out doing 1/4 mile 4 days a week, then 1/2 mile the next week, then 3/4 mile the next and finally made it to the 1 mile each time. They also make a 2 and 3 mile tape. It really gets you moving and feeling better.
