Draw backs to joining a specific diet plan or program?

What are the drawbacks to joining something like Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers? The disturbing thing to me has been that they seem to sell you food, after you sign up for they're support package. What kind of people are these that seem to corral people with eating disorders together only to sell & furnish them with snacks?

Weight Watchers although it has food does not require you to eat their food. You can use it as an alternative to cooking. But in the WW meetings I have gone to they don't encourage you to use them as meal substitutes. They are high in sodium and my leader even told me that. Jenny Craig however to me is a rip off.

Try WW I think you will enjoy it.
