I have learned from a site called Dietbug that the average weightloss (healthy adn safe) is 1-3 pounds a week
I slower you lose the weight the longer you will keep it off.

You'll lose more weight in the first week than the rest because of water weight, but afterwards experts say 1-2 pounds a week is the 'healthy' route. If you're losing more, it's likely the lost weight is coming from muscle instead of fat.
